Inspiration by...My Pink Stamper

Hi All...boy have I ever had a great time in my scrapbookin room this weekend. This project was inspired by my girl Robyn from MyPinkStamper.com. She helps me so much enjoy my crafty time (notice the website in the background?). She did a project like this using the Forever Young cartridge. I don't have that one but I used Plantin SchoolBook for the whole thing (including the envelopes) and this is what I came up with. I love it when you can use just one cartridge for a whole project. I think I'm going to take it to my mom so she can have homemade cards to give to her friends at church. This is it for me for the weekend. Have a blessed week.

Thinking of you card

Hi Again...I've been busy today making cards. This one is made with a Sizzix die cut that I got for Christmas. Sometimes I think it's kind of neat to go outside of the Cricut box. I've gotten so use to pulling out my Cricut everytime I do anything I thought I'd just play around with my good ole fashion die cuts.

Owl Card - Thank You

Hi All,

Yesterday I had a nice lady train me on something I wasn't sure of and she was so kind and patient. So I made her this thank you card to show her how much I appreciated her time. This owl is from a SCAL file I found online. I love my Sure Cuts A Lot. Well...I hope all of you are having a wonderful Saturday.

My Sweet Great Nephew...Christmas 2009

Hi All,

This is my great nephew, Kasen Matthew. Oh!....you just don't know how sweet that boy is (can you tell I'm crazy about him?). He's a blessing to our family...he's so loved.

This is Christmas at my mom and dad's house. Enjoy my page. If you guys can think of anything different I could do to those snowflakes, I'm up for suggestions. I'm not 100% pleased with them.

Have a great weekend! Susan

Just Playin Around

I don't know about you but I like to just play around with my cartridges sometimes to see what all they will do and that's where the bag came in...isn't it cute?

I was gonna post this for the Super Bowl

Touch Down Taco Dip

This stuff is wayyyy too yummy. It's an old Pampered Chef recipe if you want to look it up. I was proud of it :) Congrats to the Saints but I still wish my Colts would've won...wahhhhh!

It's Cold Out...Tryin To Warm Up

I was just playing around and made this little girl to hang up in my school bus. I plan to make a little boy too. They are going to look like summer kids because it's been so cold out. Think it will make us forget about the tons of snow on the ground?

A Baby Card For My Good Friend

Hi All. Well we are in the middle of another snow storm. I'm ready for the snow to be over. I was asked the other day where am I from....I'm in Indiana. Been suggesting to my husband that when we retire, I want to move to Savannah, Georgia.

Well...this is a baby card I made for my friend, Melissa. She's having a little boy. It doesn't look like your average pink and blue baby card. Melissa has a unique taste. I believe it might be kind of retro. I was trying to appeal to her taste with this card. I think it turned out pretty cute and it's definitely outside the box. Enjoy...and let me know what you think.

Valentine's Day Cards

Today I made Valentine's Day cards for mine and my husbands parents. That's the one with the cupcake...I made them alike. The one with the dinosaur is a 3x3 that I made for my little baby great-nephew.

My new Peachy Keen Stamps

These are the Everyday Faces.

A thousand hugs card

This is a card I've been working on but couldn't finish until I got my Peachy Keen stamps. They ship really fast and are excellent quality. I love em. The top picture is the front of the card and of course the second one is the inside.

Snow Storm

This winter has just been right down brutal. It's pretty bad when it feels like a heatwave if it's in the 20's. This is a picture from my house today. We are expecting 8 - 10 more inches overnight.

Some recent scrapbook pages

Hi All...here are a couple of scrapbook pages I recently worked on. The pink one I blocked my journaling with a couple of snow flakes...I wanted to keep that personal. Although, my dad read it...I wasn't thrilled (weight related) LOL. The one titled Christmas, those letters are made out of a Cheerios box.

I'm currently working on a really cute card but can't finish it until my Peachy Keen stamps come. As soon as I finish it, I will share it with you. Have a great day.
