Well I had been a little disgruntled about my scrapbooking room so I decided to clean and organize. It's not fancy...but I enjoy it. While I'm home from school this summer I plan to paint it. I have some pretty sage green colored sheers in here and I like the feel of that color. What color do you think would compliment them. I'll post a picture of those too. Not sure if I can get all these pictures in one post...but if I can't, I'll put them in another one :) Have a wonderful weekend.
Hi All...I made this card for my dads birthday. He recently turned 84. Look at his face!! This is what it's all about.
This card was inspired by my friend Mary from cardztv.blogspot.com. Mary is awesome and helped me create this unforgettable moment with my dad. My online community of scrappy friends mean so much to me and have enriched my life. You all inspire me :)
Hi All...well I'll be honest with you, I've never liked the title of my blog so I changed it. This title describes me perfectly. I spent 11 years in the newspaper business selling advertising. I loved it. I enjoyed my customers and the people I worked with. Then there were changes in the newspaper industry....I'm sure you can all guess...the newspaper was no match for the internet. So, the newspaper I worked for went out of business. It was like mourning the death of a very good friend. After I lost my job...in this economy, it was very hard to find another one. I took the first thing that came along which was a call center job for Verizon Wireless. It was fine at first but when you get complaint calls one right after another...it really wears on your nerves. So I asked my husband if we could handle me working part time and he was compassionate enough to say "yes". My friend Dianna is a bus driver (who lost her job at the newspaper also) and that's never anything I ever thought I would do...but I decided to go outside of my comfort zone and go for it. It has been a true blessing. I love the kids and I love the freedom. It's been very freeing and has simplified my life. So now I can actually say...I enjoy my life again. Simplicity is the answer for me and I have made so many new scrappy friends and actually have time to enjoy them. Well...that's my explanation for the blog title change LOL. Have a great day. Simply Susan
I absolutely love all the creations Robyn's new Pink Stamper designer's came up with. The challenge is to use the colors pink, green & black and this is what I came up with. It makes me feel like summer with all these juicy colors and the sun. Have a wonderful day.
Hi All...seems like forever since I've been to my scrapbooking room. I'm going to a baby shower Sunday for my niece and I got my inspiration for this card from Mary at cardztv.blogspot.com.
I'm thinking about doing a scrap room makeover. I feel like my room is too cluttered and it's bumming me out. I think I'll take some photos and post them to see if I can get some good ideas. Hope everyone is doing well.
